5 Before my 9-5

Do you know how awesome it feels to run 5 miles before work?

It feels as awesome as my face is red

Seriously - does anyone else get this red?

Here is a summary of today's thoughts on my run:

Mile 1 : Why am I doing this? I hate this! I hate running! I hate the heat!

Mile 2: This sucks. I should have stayed in bed. Marathon? Really?! So Stupid

Mile 2.5: Half way! I am halfway home!

Mile 3: I think I can I think I can. Damn it's hot!

Mile 4: 4 already? Only one more to go!

Mile 5: I'm done! That wasn't so bad....

Boom!

Look at this

That's right folks

I haven't missed a single scheduled workout in over 4 weeks

Boom!

Even that last 10 mile run last Sunday

that I woke up late for

and had to run/walk

for 2 flippin' hours

in 8 billion degree weather

I even made it to Body Pump this morning

even though my ghetto ass gym had no water

leaving me Josie Grossie at work today.

Keep on Dancing Till the World Ends

Just returned from the MIA

Where Anna and I went to see Britney Spears

After fighting crazy Miami traffic

we started our night with a classy mug (or two) of champagne

carbo load

and headed to the concert

Britney was AMAZING

I only wished I had taken more pictures

especially of the concert goers

They were either dressed as Nicki Minaj

The walk back to our hotel

(since we were practically kicked out of our cab)

was a parade of wasted girls 

in crippling heals

I ended the night with truffle oil mac and cheese

I am confident that all calories consumed here were negated 

by all the ass shakin that took place at the concert.

Woke up fresh as a daisy this morning

and treated ourselves to a cuban breakfast

Thank you Anna for a great night. I had a blast!
