Confession

Confession:

I haven't worked out in 3 weeks

this has left me severely behind in my training

for the 1/2 marathon

that is taking place 4 weeks from now!

So today I ran a measly 5 miles

which is 3 miles behind schedule

Looks like there will be a lot of walking this time around

oh well.

I'm really only interested in seeing this face anyway.

Old Friends

This weekend is low key

more so than last weekend

when I had the rare opportunity to catch of with two of my very best friends.

Friends who, 

even though many, many months will pass

before we see each other

it takes only seconds 

to catch up to where we were 

and because these friends

have failed to email me the better pictures they took

I am posting these crazy over exposed photos instead

Me: I didn't burn them.

Spirits with Spirits

This weekend Anna and I were apparently ghosts.

Hanging out with the other ghosts in town...

Happy 4th of July

Got up this morning 

for a Firecracker 5k race with Anna

It felt great getting up early and getting a workout out of the way on a holiday

Then I met up with her family for our town's 4th of July parade

so much fun being around kids for the holiday

and tonight I am home bound

acting at the protector for my very

fireworks adverse pup
